This hypocritical chastisement is a superficial attempt at EXclusion . I DO NOT support Hallmark’s appeal to wokeness and the LGTB, and neither do much of the rest of their base. There’s always an idiot at the head of a network that thinks that people will just like what they’re doing after awhile they just have to wait it out .
Hallmark doesn’t care about losing money or viewers – this is all about tearing down something good and pure. Liberals want everything vile and polluted just like the rest of the trash on tv. The powerful people at the top can’t have anything good standing in the way of the narrative they’re trying to push, and they’ll destroy anything in their way. It’s not about money, it’s about control. In the past six weeks, Hallmark fans have been watching a revolving door at their favorite feel-good network.

Yes, the management at Hallmark is pathetic and ridiculous. I saw an article that said the management was cutting shows to save money. Airing tired reruns of Golden Girls-which I like- is not the Hallmark Channel. Please get back on track with all the people that used to enjoy Halmark. A man and a woman with different skin tone?

We had discussed the addition of so many gay parts today. Even he didn’t think it was reasonable that almost every show had gay parts . They have their own stations but Hallmark was the only station for those of us who are not comfortable with so much sexual and gay content. Even though I felt like the cast of H & F was a bit too goodie goodie , the show was very popular and had so many interesting ideas and guests. Sorry to see the changes causing Hallmark heading into the dumpster. I’m so disappointed that Home and Family is being cancelled and of all the changes with the Hallmark channel.

I understand Paige Davis had her issues, but methinks they "fixed" the wrong problem. Mark Steines is one of the worst hosts I think I've ever seen. Between his false modesty, his cutting, underhanded remarks, and his fragile ego that Christina constantly works to salvage, I find myself sore from cringing. One morning, a crew member was climbing a hill near the set for exercise. She commented how she'd never have to wear Spanx again after this workout, and Steines says "this ISN'T Magic Mountain". Earlier that morning, Mark was showing how one could make a shelf out of an old book.
14 movies like this for ONE holiday was extremely weird. I don’t care if there is a gay couple on a show or in a movie but when they start making out, I’m gone. I have dumped several television shows because of this.

I am more than a little disappointed with the changes. They think they are saving money but by cancelling our favorites like H & F and Good Witch, we will stop watching HM pretty soon. Tell us how does that help to save money? You won’t need them if you have no audience. I enjoy Golden Girls but enough is enough. I don’t care for the other shows you have stuck in there and I know GG word for word.

In January, the show’s official Facebook pageanswered fans’ questions, sharing that they had to temporarily suspend production in order to comply with SAG/AFTRA. I posted a comment earlier today before I checked all the facts. I will continue to watch and support the Hallmark network.
More Heavy on Hallmark News
Before we can look at what’s ahead, let’s look at where we stand right now. As already mentioned, Hallmark holiday movies are still massively successful, generate tons of search interest, and are routinely the most-watched scripted program any and every night they air. All of that is true, even if total viewers are only nominally the same.
The two-time Emmy-nominated series currently is airing its sixth season. Matenopoulos, who has co-hosted the show with Steines, now is listed as the sole host on the network’s press site and all references to Steines have been removed. Former Hallmark Channel CEO Bill Abbott’s new TV network, GAC Family, is launching on September 27. GAC Family has picked up quite a few movies that will be airing this holiday season. Cameron Mathison has already found his new TV role. He’s joining “General Hospital,” but details about his character are still being kept secret, Soap Opera Digest reported on August 2.
After Home & Family aired reruns for three months, it was announced that the show would be returning with all-new episodes. However, even though new episodes of the show aired five days a week before production shut down, when it returned with new episodes, only three new Home & Family episodes were filmed each week. The show’s future had been iffy prior to that announcement. First, it had been on a long hiatus due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles.

Viewers have noticed another major change at Hallmark. The network has increased the amount of inexpensive syndicated programming and reduced the amount of original content that they air. That means that instead of an older Lacey Chabert movie, the network is airing another episode of The Golden Girls.
And been disappointed at all the sitcom reruns and lack of airing great more older and newer Hallmark movies. Now, I hear that the former Great American County that aired country music programming is now a family style channel and taking on movies and former H&F cast? Depending on content, I may have to go over to it more. Without factoring in the four films that didn’t chart, Great American Family is pulling in better ratings than the original holiday movies airing on some networks — networks like ION, UPtv, and BET. Like GAF, the majority of the holiday movies aired on those networks fail to make the daily ratings charts. Hallmark got caught up in trying not to be caught in the cancel culture.

Thank you for expressing all I have been holding in. Yes, I too have noticed how Hallmark is caving to the wokeness. What a shame because I loved this channel and it’s line up. I am very unhappy on what is going on at hallmark which you pay to watch and has good family show . Fighting back tears, Matenopoulos, seated on a couch surrounded by Home & Family cast and crew, told viewers that Steines “is no longer with Home & Family. Abbott, formerly the CEO of The Hallmark Channel, is part of an investment group called GAC Media that purchased two TV networks.
Love one another, unless you’re by than cast stones! How dare Hallmark put a damper on the ‘white bread’ institutions of faith and movies. In addition, fans have noticed that syndicated broadcast shows like The Golden Girls have taken over the network, as they only play a couple of original movies per day. The lifestyle show features advice and information from experts at the top of their fields and help viewers achieve goals from everyday tasks to once-in-a-lifetime events. In addition to celebrity interviews, the series features segments on cooking, DIY, health and beauty, fitness, gardening, pet care, finances and parenting among other topics. Of course, a lot of different shows and movies were shut down due to COVID-19 and then production was resumed after new protocols were put in place.

These companies have a responsibility to shareholders so if you hit them financially they will need to end this WOKE behavior and start listening to the audience. We can hit them where it hurts when we end all relations with Hallmark and other WOKE companies. Bill Abbott, the former CEO of The Hallmark Channel, is the man launching GAC Family and its sister network, GAC Living. While the channels officially launched on September 27, they didn’t have any new content at that time. GAC Media asked viewers to have patience as they added more content. GAC Family will start airing original Christmas movies in late October.
